When we sell online we forgot that there is no face to face contact with customers. There is no way that customers can directly contact you. There is nothing to connect with for customers. And we are selling our products being strangers for customers. Now, Just ask this simple question to yourself.

Are you gonna buy something from some stranger?

If it's BIG NO.

Then nobody wants to buy from a stranger if you are not gonna buy it. We need to identify ourselves before we sell. So, We need to build credibility to sell something online.

You are the base of your sells. You may have heard people are creating Brand for their product or even their personal brand. Because creating a brand is the best way out there on the internet to build credibility. If you are thinking of starting to sell online or currently selling but not having more sales then you are lacking in your credibility.

Let's take an example. When do you want to buy something online what will be the first e-commerce site you will choose?

Amazon or Flipkart right(in India). Many people only know these two sites and they are gonna buy from one of them. There are lots of sites available out there in India where maybe you can find the same product on discount or in less price. But, are you gonna buy it just because of the price or discount?

No.

You will certainly choose Amazone or Flipkart, not the other one that you just found on Google.

People buy because of the discount but not Online. You need to understand this. People do not buy just because of a discount or low price. They care more about from whom they are buying. You may provide huge discounts on your products but if your credibility is not up to the mark then some people will buy it just for fun nothing much than that. You won't get the attention of serious buyers.

So before starting to sell online create your credibility.
