Create Best Social Media Marketing Strategy in 5 Steps



Social Media marketing can be more or like similar to exploring space when you are new in the field and don't know much about it. There are lots of Social networks, lots of people, lots of ways to advertise and obviously lots of money you can make. :)

You may hear experts saying to create strategies, monthly calendar and all that. They are 100% Right.

But, What strategy to make?
What should be the goals?
Where to start?


A strategy is to help you get started on your journey of Social Media marketing for your business and helps you to take the advantages you can take of Social Media.

Now, How to make a strategy?
There are many types of strategies you will come across if you search online. I am putting here one of the best one because of its effectiveness and higher results you can get.

The strategy is divided into 5 steps. Don't Skip any and go step by step.




Let's start your Social Media Journey then.

1) Set Your Goals

The very first step in any journey is to set a destination. Right? If you don't know where you want to go then how you are gonna start walking or moving in that direction?

So, In your social media marketing journey set some goals first. These questions will help you to identify your goals if you don't know.

What do you want by using social media marketing?
How many customers/visitors you want to reach?
What are your expectations?


and Do not forget to put a date on every goal.
e.g. I want to reach out to 1000 people in 'NEXT MONTH' <-- Time limit

2) Understand Your Audience

The Second Step is to understand your audience. This one is crucial and may take some time. Think about it like if you want to marry a person you can't just marry. Right? You need to know about them...

What do they do?
What do they like?
What do they dislike?
What do they buy?
etc.


and last but not the list. (especially if you are a girl)

How much they earn? I know it. You can't just marry a person without knowing how much he earn unless you are in very very hard true love.

Here, knowing how much your targeted audience earn will help you to set the price of your product.

3) Choose a Platform

Great, you find a place to visit this summer vacation and decided what you are gonna do there. Now the question comes is how you are gonna get to the place. Which vehicle you can use to reach your vacation destination? (e.g. Bike, Car, Bus, Plane etc.) Similarly

Which social platform you can use? (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In etc.)

This is mainly depended on your target audience ask yourself...

4) Create Content


Hold on, buddy. Don't go anywhere. The journey has not ended.

You find out the vehicle but who's gonna drive that? You.

Same way you need to do the work here. But not by driving but creating content.

You need to create the best quality and genuine content which is useful for your targeted audience or can help you to drive them to you. Focus on what type of content is posted on your chosen social network. The photo you saw in the starting in this post is from my Instagram account on Insta people like that type of content.

5) Monitor and Analyse your work

Hey Great. We are almost there.

Last step. Suppose you are going to your dream vacation location by car. You need to monitor the Fuel tank, Tyres, Condition of the car, and other things.

Which type of content is working best?
Which social network is giving you more visitors?
Where are your customers?


When you know something is not working at the best what do you do?
Move on or Improve. Right?

Do the same then. Improve leave the things which are not working and improve what is working but can still do much better.

6) Repeat
